Responsibilities
The Diet Assistant (Hostess) is responsible for passing, set-up and picking up of all the patient food trays daily (breakfast and lunch). To also responsible for the passing and picking up of the patient menus. Is responsible for checking the menus to make sure they are accurate and correct according the doctors diet order. The Diet Assistant is pivotal in assuring excellent customer satisfaction; need to be good at helping patients with tray, helping to make menu choices and able to explain why some things are not allowed on certain diets. Must be good at developing and maintaining a positive teamwork environment so that the highest quality of service is achieved for customers (patients, family members, nurses, etc.). The Diet Assistant ensures that supportive tasks are accomplished within scope of duties and in a timely manner. and will maintain effective communication between the patients, diet office and the nursing units; acts as a liaison between the units and the Food Service Department.
Qualifications
a. High school or GED
b. Food Handlers Certification helpful
c. 1-2 Years hospital food service experience helpful
d. Strong customer service skills
e. Able to handle a multi task environment
f. Must be able to speak and read English
Work Schedule
Part time positon on days and evenings, up to 20 hours a week, plus every other weekend rotation.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
